ET Planning are pleased to offer an internship placement opportunity for 2025 – 2026 for those seeking practical experience in planning. This internship provides valuable insight into the profession, offering hands-on involvement in a range of planning and development projects within a dynamic consultancy environment.
Location: Crowthorne, Berkshire, UK
About the Role
As an intern, you will support our Planning team, assisting with a varied workload, including:
- Site analysis and planning appraisals
- Researching and supporting preparing planning applications
- Assisting with Certificate of Lawfulness applications
- Completion and submission of Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) forms
- Reviewing flood risk data and supporting the production of sequential tests
In addition to these technical responsibilities, you will gain essential administrative experience, including:
- Answering client calls and handling general enquiries
- Providing administrative support to the planning team
- Assisting with document management
What We Are Looking For
- Highly organised and detail-oriented, with strong research skills
- Have an interest in planning and policy research
- Possess strong written and verbal communication skills
- Can work effectively under time constraints, managing multiple tasks
- Are proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel experience is beneficial but not essential)
