To assist with the day to day running of the planning team based in our head office in Crowthorne, Berkshire.

The successful applicant will play a key role in supporting the operation of the planning business in undertaking a highly varied workload. This will consist of but not be limited to:

The role will therefore provide insight into detailed policy analysis for both the economic and planning functions of the Crowthorne office, offering a multi-disciplinary opportunity within the thriving business which allows the graduate to grow and evolve with the vision of becoming a specialist within the field alongside the support of their line manager.

The chosen candidate will also be provided with suitable training in order to allow them to progress towards undertaking their own CIL reviews and sequential tests (retail/leisure and flood risk). The chosen candidate is envisaged to grow and evolve with the role to become a specialist in this field.

Self-motivated with an inherent ability to work under varying time pressures and deadlines

Keen eye for detail and meticulous approach to research

Willingness to learn and a desire for betterment

Good interpersonal and communication (written and oral) skills

Confidence to ask questions when unsure; and seek advice and support.

Knowledge of and proficiency with CoStar, BCIS, Microsoft Excel (Desirable but not essential as training will be provided)
