ET Planning received planning approval on 1 November 2017 for a pair of contemporary two-storey semi-detached dwellings that will replace an existing single dwelling after demolition takes place.
Previous plans were submitted and approved in 2016 that included basements for the pair of semi-detached dwellings, however, with the rising cost of financial contributions to the Council and stagnating sale prices, the client, Houghton Property Developments, determined that the basements were not cost effective to include.
Et Planning worked with Fletcher Crane Architects to prepare a revised set of plans; removing the basements and converting the original garage space into living accommodation with an extra plot for parking.
These new plans achieve the clients revised brief and were approved by Elmbridge Borough Council under delegated powers.
