Will Hossack

Principal Planner

Will joined the ET Planning team in September 2022 as a Senior Planner.  Before joining ET Planning, Will worked for over four years working for a LPA, the London Borough of Harrow. Will started his career as a research assistant for the planning policy team at Harrow before moving to development management whilst studying a Masters.

During his time at the Council, Will worked on a variety of planning applications ranging from Certificates of Lawfulness to a range of Minor Development. Will also provided pre-application advice and general advice to members of the public whilst preparing appeal statements for the LPA.  Will has experience presenting recommendations at Planning Committees and has more recently given evidence at an inquiry.

Will is enthusiastic about planning and enjoys finding appeal decisions and case law to expand his knowledge. His love for planning started when studying for his BSc in Applied Geography at Bournemouth University and now holds an MSc in Spatial Planning and Development from Henley Business School – University of Reading.

In his free time, Will is an avid reader of books and enjoys going for long walks with his dog Gus. He also enjoys playing five-a-side with his friends and watches football whenever given the chance.
