Principal Planner

Sam is a Principal Planner who is part of ET Planning’s London and Surrey Team. Sam has over 5 years’ experience in the private sector working for ET Planning and other private consultancies in the UK. Sam has a variety of clients ranging from multiple architectural companies as well as small to large developers who retain his services. Sam has an analytical and logical perspective which he utilises within his position to generate efficient and thorough planning submissions.

Sam’s experience is wide-ranging and consists of a range of planning-based projects. He is adept at appraising sites, preparing, and submitting planning applications, handling enforcement cases and handling planning appeals. This work has covered a variety of development sectors, including residential, healthcare, commercial and retail.

Sam is vastly experienced having lead schemes within the majority of boroughs in the South. Sam is known by his clients for speed of work whilst providing a high-quality service and product that has been established by ET Planning.

Sam has an Upper-Class Honours degree from the University of Southampton and has also obtained his master’s degree in ‘Spatial Planning and Development’ from the University of Reading.

Sam is currently in the process of obtaining his professional chartership and RTPI official accreditation.

In his spare time Sam can be found playing tennis and cooking a burger on his BBQ in the summer months.
