Unused agricultural land and barn buildings within a Woking farm will soon be developed into two residential units thanks to ET Planning.
The proposal for the change of use from agricultural buildings to two C3 residential properties was granted by Surrey Heath Borough Council under delegated powers last month.
The barn buildings have been previously used to store hay, livestock and machinery, but with no agricultural tenant on site, these buildings can now be repurposed and made into residential properties.
ET Planning was able to demonstrate that the application met the requirements of Class Q of the General Permitted Development Order 2015 and therefore only needed to submit a Prior Approval proposal rather than a full planning application.
ET Planning worked with Becker Design Architects to submit floorplans to the council showing the dimensions of the new properties.
