Planning permission was achieved this week for a replacement dwelling in the Bracknell Forest Green Belt. The Council had already approved a series of developments which resulted in a 26% increase in built form on the site, however this did not meet the client’s desired brief in terms of design or internal layout. Working with Architects Martin Butler Partnership Ltd, a revised design was achieved that proposed a 40% floorspace increase over the original building, but yet achieved a reduced height and width over the previous proposal. The application was approved under delegated powers.
