As ET Planning continues to grow the company has reorganised its structure and services enabling the implementation of a new strategy; to offer clients a more holistic view of the complex planning system.
The new business structure
ET Planning has been an independent planning consultancy since 2017 working in partnership with architects, property owners, developers and private investors, supporting them to bring their planning visions to life and navigate the planning system.
Now, in a unique move for a consultancy of ET Planning’s size, the company is restructuring their business model to offer a wider set of services which will help clients to bring development forward taking into account a variety of planning viewpoints.
The company will now be able to offer support services and expert advice in four key areas:
- Planning consultancy
- Local government case work
- Strategic and land development
- Economics
Independent Planning Consultancy
ET Planning can prepare and co-ordinate the submission of planning applications and can act as a planning agent when negotiating with the Local Planning Authority.
Making particular use of the experience of our staff who have previously worked in Local Authority, we can guide you through the whole process for developments of all scales, from house extensions to hundreds of new dwellings.
This service also encompasses Certificate of Lawfulness and Prior Approval submissions where relevant to a particular development proposal.
Local Government Case Work
With a team of experts, many of whom have a Local Authority policy or development management background, and who can provide in-depth information, advice and support on the legislative background, policies and regulations of the planning system, ET Planning are best placed to guide you. This includes appeals, enforcement investigation and notices, local plan development, land supply and policy, and supplying professional expert witnesses at appeal Hearings and Inquiries.
Strategic and Land Development
Strategic and land development programmes can take years of complex preparation, promotions and representation through various stages of consultation and public examination.
At ET planning, we have the in-house experience and expertise to help, guide and steer you through this process.
These services include land promotion, planning submissions for large developments, representing land owners at public hearings and consulting on neighbourhood plans.
Economics Services
The newest series of services, guided by a new team of planning experts will launch in May 2023.
The Economics team will be able to support you with financial viability assessments including affordable housing viability reports and development appraisals, as well as heritage asset restoration viability and market supply viability assessments.
The team are also qualified to provide property valuations and give advice on development Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) implications, strategies, and the making of CIL appeals.
