Buckinghamshire’s New Local Plan: Key Facts and Next Steps
The Challenge
Buckinghamshire Council has recently consulted on the Regulation 19 publication version of its new Local Plan, which will guide development across the county between 2024 and 2045. The Plan makes provision for approximately 91,300 new homes and identifies around 147 hectares of additional employment land for allocation. The main consultation has now closed, and the Council will review the representations received before submitting the Plan for independent examination.
Our Approach
ET Planning has considerable experience of working across Buckinghamshire and the former district authority areas, including successfully securing allocations through previous Local Plans. Although the current Plan is now at an advanced stage, we can advise landowners and developers on development opportunities across Buckinghamshire, as well as the longer-term promotion of land through future Local Plan reviews.
